"I was about 17 when I first started getting into Motorcycles. I would get on Tumblr all the time to look at the Wrench Monkee’s blog and see what they were up to. Not too long after that they inspired me to get my own 1979 CB650. It was a really clean bike and I wanted to rip it apart and make a cafe racer out of it. I obviously didn’t know shit about bikes but a few of my friends and my cousin helped me strip it down - I’ve been hooked ever since.
The feeling of riding with your homies around town is therapeutic to say the least. It reminds me of surfing in a way. You literally can do whatever you want. I do a lot of thinking when I’m out on two wheels. As cheesy as it sounds I come up with a lot of creative ideas when I’m out. The more I really think about it, motorcycles really got me to where I am now."
