The Melbourne underground chopper scene has a new monthly, “Chopper Tuesday”. Organised by Muddy and Nick from Dragonwolf Press.
Changing location monthly, Chopper Tuesday is pretty simple, no sugar coating, just real bikes with old school soul and their builders riding out, having a good time. The generational mix of bikes that ride in have two things in common - old iron and wacked out ideas. Bikes that normal people would have traded years ago have been chopped up with parts that shouldn’t be seen together are combined with ‘shedgineering’ building that is brilliant and scary.
As someone wrote: 'Chopper Tuesday is what bike shows should be all about - individuality. '
Check out some shots from the most recent event below and look out for the next Chopper Tuesday, running the second Tuesday in February... somewhere in Melbourne!
